Workshops with Lyla

    Have you ever wanted to try belly dance, but haven’t taken the plunge? Lyla has 10 years of American Cabaret belly dance under her coin belt, and is perfectly poised to guide you as you begin your dance journey.
    The workshops are made just for beginners- no experience, skill, or age requirements! Here’s what you can expect:
    Small class sizes that allow for personalized, one-on-one instruction.
Technique instruction, simple drills, and fun choreography.
A welcoming, low-pressure environment where every body is a belly dancing body.
    There will be two different kinds of workshops, alternating every other weekend (each type happens once a month).
    Stand-alone workshops just for fun, each ending with a brand new short choreography.
    Performance-aimed workshops to learn a longer choreography in sections and ultimately perform it at Dance Phillipsburg’s annual hafla.
